While we call this a “wet spot” in the candle business, it’s not actually wet at all. When you heat wax it becomes a liquid and expands, and as it cools & solidifies it shrinks, sometimes pulling away from the glass and creating these “wet spots.” Unfortunately they are impossible to avoid in most cases but rest assured they don’t affect the quality of your candle at all!

This is something that naturally happens with soy wax and is due to a natural process called "frosting" where tiny crystals form on the wax surface as it cools, it is a sign that the candle is made with pure soy wax. This process doesn't affect the candle's burn quality or scent throw at all.
